Birthday Cake -- for Akiko

Akiko生日聚餐的蛋糕~
基本的Sponge Cake + Berries + Whipped Cream
家附近的超市莫名其妙的沒有新鮮草莓
只好冷凍草莓當夾層~
然後用新鮮的黑莓加上自製的Strawberry Rhubard Compote裝飾



可惜是個扶不起的阿斗~
一切就散散去了~

Banana Bread -- Updated

上星期烤的Banana Bread~
終於撐到香蕉夠熟了!

Moist Banana Bread Recipe
* 4 large ripe bananas
* 2 cups all purpose flour
* 1 tsp baking soda
* 1/2 tsp baking powder
* 1/2 cup butter
* 1 1/2 cups sugar
* 1/2 tsp salt
* 2 eggs
* 1 tsp vanilla
*4 tablespoons sour cream


1. Mix dry ingredients together and sift.
2. In a mixing bowl, cream softened butter with the sugar and salt.
3. Mix in eggs, vanilla and sour cream. Mix until just blended.
4. Add flour mix to the batter.
5. Mash ripe soft bananas into bowl and add into mixture.
6. Bake in preheated 350 F for 1 hour. If a toothpick comes out clean, its done.
